So tonight on Static Underground, our opening band is Skulls and they are waking up bright and early. A first for the program, this trio will be calling in from tomorrow in Sydney, Australia, where Colombia, Chile, and Australia meet to form their sound: Island Punk. With 3 singles and an EP out in under six months, they’re already turning heads in Sydney and planning to tour in 2027.

Next up we have some circle city emo brought to you by The Hoosier State. This Indy trio is bringing us their pop punk vibes that is sure to get you movin’ and groovin’ as we round out the first hour. Midwest emo means feelings are mandatory, and their EP, “Mourning Glory,” is basically your old diary with better production.
–Green Day Cover: Welcome To Paradise (Dookie)
Our third band on the show will be Michigan’s own The Warped Tourists. These guys are here to give you a live pop goes punk experience straight from Detroit, spanning over three decades of songs they cover. Have you ever said “what if that was a punk song?” Well, The Warped Tourists are here to answer that question for you.
–Green Day Cover: Good Riddance (Nimrod)
And closing out the night is North Jersey’s own Take It Or Leave It. Featuring the Static Underground producer himself, these four hooligans are bringing you some modernized nostalgia with their punk sound. From creative covers of oldies to catchy originals that have you singing along, get ready for thirty minutes of non-stop entertainment.
–Green Day Cover: Coming Clean (Dookie)
And special thanks to Alex Gaylon for providing some cozy, ambient vibes before the show kicked off. You can follow them for more experimental music and livestreams!
