Static Underground #5: Gathering After Ashes, Maximum Friction, Silversel & Kissing Lilith (May 15, 2026)

First up is Cleveland’s own, Kissing Lilith. This emotionally driven nu-metal band looks to blend cinematic atmosphere with raw vulnerability by exploring obsession, identity, love and self-destruction. Come find something real with them.

Next up is Silversel, a modern “blue-collar” metal band out of Georgia. A product of the nine to five grind, these guys are the soundtrack of those who work nonstop and still feel the weight on their backs. So grab a beer, we’re screaming our feelings over here.

Starting off hour two is Maximum Friction, a three piece metal band out of West Palm Beach. They might be young, but this power trio has the experience and it shows. Whether it’s playing classic covers from the greats that came before them to metaling up a pop or modern track, this crew can do it all. Performing live from OnStage Studios in Boca Raton, FL.

And closing out the night is Gathering After Ashes from Northern New Jersey. Formed in 2012, this hard rock powerhouse pulls from progressive rock, punk, metal, alternative and everything in between. Bottom line, these guys are here to rock heavy, hard and in your face!
